Working with a team of 4, I worked directly with the LIFE IS GOOD team to develop a concept footwear solution for their brand as they were looking to expand into footwear. We originally explored the idea of a large line and long term line building with a sandal, water sock, casual shoe and winterized boot but ultimately decided to focus solely on developing a strong sandal concept. The goal was to design an affordable, unique and sustainable sandal that's easy to carry, use and manufacture. We were to create the concept around the idea of using the recycled excess of their shirts for the upper material.
